All arts groups in the U.S. rely on sponsorship for a portion of their funding.
Recognizing this funding difficulty, Dance West performs professionally as often as possible. But there is still a large gap in each year’s budget which is filled through corporate and individual sponsorship. We are lucky to have a wonderful group of sponsors each year, many of whom are listed below, please consider joining them.
Sponsorship Benefits
Dance West is an unfunded activity by the Beaverton School District, but it does have non-profit status as a public school activity. Dance West is also a beneficiary of FAME, a 501(c)3 entity that raises funds for ACMA, funds give to FAME may be directed to Dance West.
Sponsorships are available at many levels and include a variety of benefits, from concert tickets and prominent corporate mention at public performances, to recognition of sponsorship of specific choreographic and artistic pieces or performances. Past sponsorships have funded visiting artists, many with nationally and internationally recognized works, and shared these works with a wide variety of audiences. ACMA’s and Dance West’s mission include spreading arts into the community, providing demonstrations and performances for schools with underserved students across the region.
